I’m moving to Washington in June. It will involve a large moving truck, and towing my car behind it. There are things that I don’t want to put in the truck, like my PC, among other things. My question is if it’s okay to put things in the trunk of the car that’s being towed.

No, the Vtec might kick in too hard and create a time warp and that’ll totally kick the trunk right open.

Pretty sure the time warp will be a much larger problem. What if I turn off the VTEC?

I recently did the same thing. Moved in a big rental truck and towed a car behind it. In the car, I put several things that I didnt want banged around, or needed access to during the trip, in the trunk of the car. My dogs food, laptop computer, some guns, etc.

Thanks. I’m gonna do the same thing.

Why don’t you pull the moving truck with your car? You should have enough VTEC to do it.

Only if it Vtecs the the left, the vtecs to the right.

Coming from the guy who’s sick of VTEC jokes.

Yep. I’m sick of them but... It was too good to pass up

I would try to even the weight out in the car, some up front, back seat and boot. You probably don’t want a lot of weight only in the rear for obvious reasons.

That Accord in the picture is actually the car I am going to sell soon.

I put my Golf on a flat trailer, and inside the car was stuff. On the roof, in a roof box, was more stuff. I only died from VTEC once.

I’ve seen a U-Haul truck towing a car with people inside of it. I’d say it’s okay.

Well I’d say those people were idiots, but okay.
